Diego Cordovez plays online at Full Tilt Poker.

A former tech industry executive, Diego Corodvez began playing poker in California card rooms while working in Silicon Valley. He started out at low-stakes Limit and No-Limit Hold ‘em, and rapidly progressed to the bigger games. After experiencing consistent success, Diego made the decision to focus on poker as a profession.
His first big win came in 2000 at the WSOP. Diego took down the $2K No-Limit Hold ‘em event, earning more than $290K and a bracelet. He followed this with another first-place finish at the Legends of Poker No-Limit Hold ‘em event in LA just a couple of months later before finishing the year out with several more impressive performances.
2002 saw Diego cashing in four WSOP events, making the final table in three of them. Of these, he took second in the $2K SHOE event after a lengthy battle with Phil Ivey. Since that time, he’s made eight more cash finishes in WSOP events, including three more final tables. Given his demonstrated ability, this is a trend that will likely continue.
While Diego’s primarily a ring game player, you’ll regularly find him playing in Sunday tournaments online. If you want to see him in action, look for Diego online at Full Tilt Poker.
