Kristy Gazes plays online at Full Tilt Poker.

Kristy was born in Torrance, CA and like many other LA natives, she made her way into the entertainment industry after school. While she enjoyed her career as a documentary filmmaker, poker caught Kristy's interest and the rest, as they say, is history.
She initially started as a cash-game player and quickly became a regular in many area high-stakes games. In fact, before 2003, Kristy only played about five to ten tournaments a year, preferring to sharpen her skills in as many different games as she could and earning her nickname of Kristy "Mixed-Games" Gazes.
While Kristy still loves playing in cash games, she has been focusing more on tournament play. This paid off when Kristy won first prize in the FullTiltPoker.net Championship at Wynn Las Vegas. 2007 was Kristy’s most successful year at the felt. In January, she finished seventh in both the $3,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event and the $10,000 Main Event at the Aussie Millions. Added together, she left the Land Down Under almost $200K richer. Then, in February she finished in 16th place at the WPT's LA Poker Classic.
In September 2007, Kristy again found herself in the spotlight at a televised WPT table when she defeated five other players, including defending champion JJ Liu to claim the Ladies Night V title. Her total tournament earnings in 2007 amounted to over $390K.
Since then, Kristy has enjoyed four WSOP and two WPT cashes and is close to breaking the $1 million mark for career tournament earnings.
