Mario Adinolfi

Italian player and Friend of Full Tilt Poker Mario Adinolfi is a respected writer and journalist, working in Italian television and press.  

Mario has played poker every day since he was introduced to the game in July 2007, starting off with small stakes ring games in Rome. He moved on to small buy-in Sit & Go and Multi-Table Tournaments.

In 2009, Mario achieved his first notable finish, playing at the World Poker Tour (WPT) in Venice. He placed 6th in the €4K No-Limit Hold ‘em event for almost $90K.

In March 2011, Mario reached his second WPT final table, this time at the WPT Vienna – Main Event. Starting in a field of 555 players, the Italian played through four days of competition to finish in fourth place. He was rewarded for his impressive performance with a payday of just over €115K ($164K).

When he’s not playing poker, Mario is involved in local politics and writes a political blog. He also has a passion for literature, cinema and theatre.

When asked about joining Full Tilt Poker, Mario said “I'm very pleased to join the Full Tilt Poker team, it is like playing in my beloved Juventus FC.”
