German player Maxi Müller began playing poker in 2005. She was introduced to the game by a friend who set up an online poker school. Maxi was immediately attracted by the mathematical and psychological aspects, and began playing daily. She honed her skills in Fixed-Limit Hold ’em and worked as a private poker coach for three years, teaching Texas Hold ‘em to beginners. Also known as “Moxl”, she writes for several poker websites.

Maxi mainly plays live $100/$200 Limit Hold ‘em ring games. In 2007, she decided to play professionally and made her debut on the live tournament circuit. She attended the Concord Card Casino Spring Poker Festival, followed by the World Series of Poker and the German Championship.

When she’s not playing poker, Maxi enjoys travelling. Her ambition is to obtain a boating license so she can go sailing in Europe in the summer.
